What coastal and park grounds do you maintain?
Landscaped grounds at beach parks and public beach access points, waterfront promenades and boardwalk approaches, parking lot islands near the beach, and neighborhood and city parks inland. Scope follows the owner's maintenance boundary so it is clear where the contract stops.
What changes when the site is on the water?
Plant selection leads with salt and wind tolerance: sea grape, cocoplum, sabal and coconut palms and other species that hold up to spray. Sand is cleared from walks and bed edges every cycle, and turf in heavy-use areas is mowed higher and watched closely for wear.
Do you work on the dunes?
No. Dune vegetation on Florida beaches is protected and managed under state permits. Montenegro's work stops at the landscaped grounds: turf, planting beds, palms, walks and parking areas.
What about hurricane season?
Coastal parks take the first hit in every storm. Contract clients are prioritized for post-storm clearing of walks, access points and parking areas, using Montenegro's own trucks and trailers.

- Can you service parks on a public contract?
- Yes. Park and beach grounds are bid to the written specification, with a certificate of insurance, a W-9 and references in the bid package. Montenegro is a registered vendor in Broward.
- How often should beach-side grounds be serviced?
- More often than inland sites during season. Sand drift, litter and wear build up faster near the beach, and the cycle should reflect that rather than follow an inland calendar.
- Do you plant salt-tolerant species?
- Yes. Replacements and new beds near the water are chosen for salt and wind tolerance first, which avoids paying again for plants that were never going to survive there.
