How do I know if my irrigation has a problem?

What does a system check involve?
Each zone is run in turn and watched: head coverage and alignment, spray pattern, clogged or broken heads, and controller timing against what the landscape actually needs. Heads are cleaned, adjusted or replaced on the spot. Anything below grade, such as a broken pipe or a failed valve, is documented by zone and location and passed to a licensed irrigation contractor rather than guessed at.
Should watering schedules change through the year?
Yes. Running a summer schedule through the dry season wastes water, and running a dry-season schedule through the rainy months drowns beds and encourages fungus. Controllers should be adjusted seasonally, and local watering restrictions apply in both Broward and Miami-Dade.
What irrigation work is not included?
